The Thai Red Cross (TRC) provides anonymous and low cost HIV and STD testing and medications. The test results are completely confidential and not reported to anyone outside of TRC. HIV testing results are usually available in about an hour. You will only be able to receive HIV test results from a staff member in a private room. For other STD tests or lab work your results can be sent by email but you must inform the staff. Some tests require waiting periods of 3-7 days. The electronic queuing system is very well coordinated and uses English/Thai and is clearly marked, and most staff members are able to speak English.
