Efavirenz is an NRTI that was approved in 1998.  It is available as a single medication or in the triple combination pill ATRIPLA.  Some people report side effects of disturbed sleep, general depression, and headaches.  Often the side effects will dissipate but sometimes do not. It comes in several mg strengths and dosing varies.
